Golden Dynamic was awarded the Merit Prize at the 6th annual APICTA (Asia Pacific Information and Communication Technology Awards) ceremony. APICTA is an international program initiated by the non-profit Multimedia Development Corporation to stimulate innovation, provide product benchmarking opportunities, facilitate technology transfer, and increase information and communication technology awareness in the region.
The VOIR 3G Mobile Video, with a service name of “3G Mobile TV”, also received the Gold award in the Mobile Infotainment category from the Hong Kong Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Awards 2006 organized by WTIA, and supported by Office of the Government Chief Information Officer of the Government of Hong Kong, SAR. Quoted from the Judging Panel, “GD is being awarded for developing this application which simulates the conventional TV user interface for channel selection on 3G mobile phones with instant channel and content switching with comprehensive management system for content management, subscription and billing”.
